Ayele Tulu has been engaged in farming since his early years, and in 2014, he established his own farm along with a washing station. Since then, he has actively participated in various regional farmers’ groups. Tsegab, his eldest son, has been involved in the coffee industry since childhood and has played a key role in introducing innovations to the farm, eventually enabling them to export their own coffee.

Despite the high altitude, where temperatures typically range from 16 to 22 degrees Celsius, the arabica plants flourish and exhibit robust growth. The coffee produced is a unique blend of local traditional varieties that have been carefully selected for their resilience to drought.

This particular batch undergoes a washed process, wherein the beans are fermented in water and subsequently dried for up to 18 days on raised African beds.
