In 1956, Roberto Molina purchased Finca Granada, which is currently managed by his nephews. The family owns three large properties in the same municipality, each situated at different altitudes, and they specialize in producing exceptional coffee lots using both natural and washed processing methods.
The coffee at Finca Granada benefits from the fertile soil composed of clays, and it flourishes under the nurturing shade. The harvesting process involves meticulous manual picking and careful selection. During the peak season, the Vides family hires up to 25 workers to assist them.
For this specific lot, the natural processing method is employed, which necessitates a slow drying phase lasting up to four weeks on the concrete patios under the sun. The deliberate drying process contributes to the desired characteristics and quality of the coffee.
