Banko Gotiti, a prominent area in Yirgacheffe, is renowned for its high-quality coffee. The coffee plants are shielded from direct sunlight by taller vegetation. After harvesting, cherries are spread out on raised drying beds and hand-sorted to separate ripe cherries from immature ones. The cherries are dried in sunlight for 15 days before being packed.
